Thaddeus has been a mainstay on the North of England Club circuit for over fourteen years and is currently resident at the long-running Sunday night institution ‘Sabbath’ at Essential.
Thaddeus’ DJ debut was in the loft of the legendary Paradise Factory in 1995. “It was a lucky break really. I think I was in the right place at the right time. They offered people the chance to DJ in the loft on a Saturday night, peak time. I gave in a playlist and soon afterwards I got a call offering me a slot….. and then it dawned on me - I’d never used a set of decks before so how the hell was I gonna get through this one. I was always more interested in being on the other side of the decks, on the dancefloor. On the night I went in before the club opened and had to get the lighting guy to show me how to use the mixer coz I was clueless! Fortunately I managed to mix all the tracks pretty good if I do say so, so I was chuffed. Loads of people had turned up to support me and I was absolutely buzzing. The atmosphere in the place was amazing. The loft had a bouncy dancefloor and it was definitely bouncing that night. From then on I was hooked. I knew I had to DJ” After this initial appearance a fortnightly residency soon followed where he remained for much of ‘90’s, playing his blend of funky, chunky, vocal House with a disco and Old Skool flavour, mixing in different records and a’capella’s all the time to tease and lift the crowd.
Thaddeus has consistently played crowd-pleasing sets to an enthusiastic audience over the years and has mainly played as a resident, building a rapport with his audiences. Past residencies have included the legendary Paradise Factory, Danceteria, Strangeways, Club Odyssey as well as countless guest appearances in the UK and Europe.
